  1. I knew if I visited the page enough it would happen! Thank you Henry.

P.S I love the theme song, i tap my foot every time I hear it. Really puts me in the mood.

  2. Favourite superhero cartoon growing up: 1990’s Spiderman (lacking cable, I borrowed tapes from a cousin who lived in another town). Later, I watched most of the shows you guys mentioned, but that Spiderman show was the first, and my favourite from that time.

Oh, and the first season of the 1960’s Spiderman is not terrible (yes it looks bad, but the stories really aren’t bad.) The second season is way worse because the Rocket Robinhood guy took over and tried to make the show for next to nothing. That’s why there are multiple Spiderman episodes where blue… moleman…. things attack New York. They were enemies on RR. In fact, watch those episodes side by side (spiderman and RR) and it’s hilarious. The only diffrence is they covered over Robinhood with Spiderman. Nothing else was changed, visually.

Anyway, that’s boring. But I loved the 90’s Spiderman show. So there.

    1. I swear one of these days I’m going to sit down and actually listen to all the podcasts I download. A download is almost the same as listening right? Oh and a comment is always a good sign of too right? I got through all 197+ EPs of TDAR so… I’m just a late bloomer is all lol.

      Shirts would be awesome.

  4. Henry has never sounded more like Fanboy than when correcting Chris about the Power Rangers. Hank, you’re the fucking best.

  5. I’m sorry Henry but it sounds like the only reason you don’t like Hush is because of all the bullshit that followed and retconned things. I’m sorry if that ruins your enjoyment of good things but I still think Hush is one of the better Batman comics.

    1. In terms of superhero cartoons, I watched all of the cartoons from the 90s and early 2000s but Teen Titans was the only show that both my sister and I could enjoy together, which led to my fondest memories. Though I continue to love most of the other super hero cartoons (Especially The Brave and the Bold and Batman Beyond) I’ve never had as good memories as Teen Titans.

  6. According to the TDar wiki, Scott Butterworth hasn’t been on TDar, or probably Laser Time as well, because he was busy, “beating hookers, dressing up goats as children and Jews, and starting a Dickensian factory in the Future US parking lot.”

It’s good to see him back.

  7. That was basically a 90’s cartoon and Power Ranger cast. Even though I never dug the Rangers THIS IS THE GREATEST PODCAST EVER.

  8. I am going to go along with Henry and recommend Punishermax by Jason Aaron. I don’t feel its as amazing as Garth Ennis’ run, but it is pretty freakin sweet so far. I have read the first three volumes and I just got the fourth in the mail today.

  9. I just wanted to let you guys are in the top 80 most subscribed on zune marketplace!
Keep up the great work guys

  10. Ouch, I got burned for my grammar by Chris during the Listen question section. I didn’t think I was that bad. Oh well, good show guys.

  11. This episode is what i’m gonna use to get my friends into the whole Lasertime family. Keep the Uber-amazing quality up!

  12. At first I thought it was Hollander and I got excited, but then I realized it was Scott and got SUPER EXCITED!

I do love all you ptom pplz

  13. Good episode. As much as I hate to be the guy to defend dbz (which there’s not alot to defend admittedly) Being born in ’86 it hit me in that perfect sweet spot between wide eyed idealism and teenager cynicism. While I cant defend the episodes of grunting and loooong stretches of nothing happening it provided something I hadn’t seen til that point.. arcs. Sure I loved Batman T.A.S. and many of the other superhero fare but dbz was the first that didn’t wrap up its stories up in singular episodes meant for syndication. You had to watch several episodes to even know what was going on. This was insane to me at the time, and made the battles carry alot more weight. I kind of dropped out after the Freiza arc but man was that fun at the time.
