Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
Buy this fucker through us or we’ll have to initiate some “G-Prot” on that ass! That’s my affectionate nickname for Ethan Cruise’s latest adventure, which the world stubbornly refuses to adopt. I don’t know what the hell “Ghost Protocol” is necessarily, but that’s probably the point, right… can you tell I haven’t seen this movie? I’d really like to, though! When the director of The Iron Giant and The Incredibles decides to stop making the finest animated films the modern world has ever known, you know I’m going to pay attention. Let’s hope this DVD comes with the IMAX Dark Kinght Rises footage!

Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings
One of the best exclusives the PC had to offer is getting enhanced and released on the 360. I’m told this thing is fucking amazing, but my only interaction with The Witcher 2 thus far has been the free drinks they provided at PAX East. It was great seeing all of you there, BTW! Act SUPER Fast to take advantage for the FREE Witcher Digital Comic Book!

Frozen Planet
Goddamn, do I love these things! Other than Pixar movies, there’s no better showcase for optimal High-Def presentations than these ridiculously amazing painstakingly-shot documentary series collaborations from the BBC and Discovery Channel. (Planet Earth, anyone?! )And for me, it’s just not a nature documentary without the soothing sounds of Sir David Attenborough. Alec Baldwin, you’ll be missed!

Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention
Say what you will about this somewhat indistinguishable series, I’m a huge fan. It’s low-fi charm and humor is absolutely perfect when you’re in the mood for it, and I actually can’t think of a better platform to feature Etna and co’s classic charm than on the PSVita. A lovely, old-school JRPG grind whenever, wherever, and anything else Shakira ever sang about.

Shame
WARNING: Magneto Dick! It’s no Hulk Dick (DOT COM!), but it’ll do. Please enjoy Steve “Black and Alive” McQueen’s amazingly explicit exploration on sex and sexy stuff. Or maybe even watch it just to learn how you too can become an expert at delivering your own “Fassbender” in the sack. Whatever, you probably fuck like a champ already, right?

Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat  360  |  PS3
This show is dumb in all the right ways. Sort of like the conversations in Clerks and/or Veterans Club bars brought to life with the utmost sincerity. “I bet you a zombie can kill a Nazi” “Ah, you’re full of shit, Gus!” That’s pretty much the show, and I would guess the game also revels in that kind of sensible geek stupidity, like a Mortal Kombat for history buffs. I know Mikel has a strange affection for theses games, and at the low price of $30, it seems easy to give it a shot.

  1. Ahh dang I just put down an order for Mission Impossible G-Prot last night.
Also put Catherine and Rayman Origins on that order. 😛

  2. Rather than comment, I will compliment. Chris, your hair looks wonderful today. Tyler, is that a new shirt? Henry, your Twitter handle is just faaantastic.

  3. I bought Drive from the sidebar a few days ago. Glad I could contribute a few cents to LaserTime. Loved Ghost Protocol despite the ridiculous name, I’ll be picking it up from here.

  4. Mission Impposible: Ghost Protocal is one of the best movies of last year with great performances by Simon Peggy and Jeremy Rennet (Yet another reason to be excited for the Avengers). On Disgaea I want to plug VGMpire episode 14 which is one of my favorite episodes and features music from Atelier Iris, Ar Tonelico, and Disgaea.
