  1. Speaking of misogyny in comics how do you guys feel about the James gunn controversy? Perhaps in next weeks issue?

Also I know he probably didn’t mean it “that way” but Hank mentions how Marvel gets writers to write bimonthly stories but doesn’t mention the artists, (even after mentioning Uncanny Avengers schedule and complaining of ‘guest artists’ between issues last week.

Also, Wouldn’t Superman technically “not” count as an American hero? If so he’s my choice.

    1. Uh? A little rusty on my basic civics here but I’m fairly certain you don’t have be born in America to become an American citizen. But don’t take my word for it.

      1. I think the point of the question was non-American born citizens, if they were counting American citizenship it defeats the purpose of the question a bit, as anyone, say Northstar (born in Canada lives in New-york) could become an American citizen.

I was speaking of how Superman was born on a completely different planet, and who is an American icon, is still a foreigner. An “illegal alien” if you will.

  2. If you guys are too busy to deal with the spam then why not make some forum members mods? Pretty sure most of us would be happy to help you out. Great episode too 🙂

  3. Deadpool is rather Canadian. We have also claimed Batman and Spider-Man, since they run around Toronto all the time.

  4. I always thought Michael C. Hall (Dexter) would make a fair Wolverine.

And yikes, the Hawkeye Initiative is great. How long until the actual comic artists re-imagine him as this sex kitten?

  5. My favourite Canadian superhero is Major Mapleleaf, whose first appearance involves him trying to kill and AIDS baby. Seriously.

  6. I always love a good Black Panther storyline, although a few of the Batman Inc. dudes if they were given a series have potential, especially Nightrunner the Batman of France.

    1. Also, thanks for addressing the forum thing, Chris. We know you’re busy making things to entertain us, just do what you can.

  7. My favourite non US hero is Paragon from Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects.

    Nah, can you imagine?

Deadpool is my favourite and I love Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe! Only recently started reading comics and I heard it mentioned on Cape Crisis, so I thought I’d give it a read!
