INVINCIBLE! Finally you guys talk about my favorite book! What Henry said he disliked is the thing I love about Invincible – the way an arc will end in ways I don’t expect, being taught to expect certain tropes from DC and Marvel.
And to Henry, Super Dinosaur isn’t just a kids book. It is written as an ALL-AGES book as opposed to the violence and gore of Invincible and Walking Dead. Kirkman has stated he wants everybody to read SD and it is written accordingly. Kids read it and like it, but adults do too. It’s good action and humor and everything people love about old Saturday morning cartoons as seen through the Kirkman lens.
This episode (plus a number of other Laser Time network shows) got me through a pretty shitty move these last 4 days. Thank you.
