Every Marvel Movie Easter Egg

Before we experience whatever’s going to happen in the end credits of Guardians of the Galaxy, let’s take a look at all the previous hints, winks and nods Marvel Studios have hidden throughout their films.

Hope you’ve got 13 minutes to kill, because we’re posting this primarily as a service. First of all, I know many of you are probably standing in a corkscrewing line at this very moment for a midnight screening of Guardians of the Galaxy. As jealous as I am of you, you’re probably desperate for something to watch on your phone. You’re welcome!

Secondly, I know you all also have a tendency to wet those pants during Marvel’s movie premieres. The specific nature of the liquid is not important (I can think of at least three that occurred to me when I saw Thor’s hammer at the end of Iron Man 2), the point is it happens. Watching this should build your consciousness a nice little callous. So by the time the credits roll on Guardians, you can walk proudly away from what I’m 100% positive is just a two minute Evian commercial starring Spider-Ham with the driest damned set if dungarees since, uh… probably Amazing Spider-Man 2.

I’m pretty disappointed in myself for not recognizing the Iron Man 60s cartoon theme, especially due to how many times it played in the first film. And who knew The Incredible Hulk had so much white power propaganda hidden in the film?! Point, Edward Norton!

  1. “Sorry, this video is unavailable from your location.”
Oh well. I’m pretty sure I can figure out what was in the video just by reading the article.

  2. I’m catching up on my Lasertime/Cape Crisis podcasts so I just heard Henry’s big announcement.

As a straight man who loves miusicals and can’t get enough of “Let it Go” I could always point to Henry and say “see I’m not the only one.” Ah well, I’m happy and proud of you.

  3. Awesome vid. I’m not the most hardcore of comic fans, so a fair share of those easter eggs flew right by me when I watched the movies, it’s nice to see them pointed out though.

Seriously though, fuck the GotG stinger.

    1. Why didn’t you like the stinger? I thought it was perfect, especially how drenched the movie was with 80s nostalgia.
