Wubba Lubba Dub Dub! A New Trailer For Rick And Morty Season 2 Is Here!

In a matter of weeks the new season of Rick and Morty will begin, so take a deep sip of what’s coming soon from Laser Time’s favorite show…

It’s nice to turn on a TV show and feel it was made for you. Ya know, one full of characters making references to every movie you’ve ever seen, are recovering from shitty family dynamics, and trying to find their way in a world full of sociopaths and people trapped in an existential crisis. Also, Rick farts a lot. Alls I’m saying is I love Rick and Morty, and am overjoyed that the second season is about to begin! Check out this new trailer!

Boy, what kind of wacky adventures are those guys and gals going to get into next? There are so many quick flashes of upcoming episodes that it’s hard to parse it all out. I can definitely see some more dimensional travel, codependency, and cinematic violence on the way. Also, I hope we see more of that assassin Rick knows, because I am 99% sure he’s played by Andy Daly, one of my favorite performers around.

What I DO know is that show co-creator Justin Roiland is a really cool dude and that he loves Laser Time podcasts. Ok, that may be assuming a lot, but HAS been on an episode of Laserr Time. He was super nice and accommodating, and he’s welcome back any time. (And if you readers could pass that along to him, that’d be really cool.)

Anywho, that’s not the only flashes of R&M’s future that posted today. Take a look at this test footage for (we can only hope) a stop motion scene from season 2!

However, if all this sounds new to you, I suggest you jump on the Rick and Morty bandwagon before it fills up. Get to watching season one ASAP before season 2 starts July 26. How do you do that? Well, there are certainly less savory means out there, but if you want to support the artists, there are a few good ways to seek it out. Every episode of Rick and Morty to date is on Hulu Plus if you’ve got that, OR you could buy the Blu-ray, which has a ton of extras that are totally worth it, honest!

I can’t be the only one hyped up by this, right? Doesn’t it make you want to search out another universe where it’s starting sooner? Or at the very least get rickity-rickity-wrecked, son? Tell me in the comments, because I want to know!

  1. The claymation in that Rick and Morty scene looks like the same studio that just did the awesome claymation Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode that recently aired, (which also featured Justin Roiland.)

  2. i’m still in search on that blu ray in dublin, havent found it yet sadly. im so excited for the new season but not looking forward to the week wait between episodes.

  3. Hell yeah, son! Can’t wait to watch more Rick and Morty. Season 1 was the bomb, and Hank is 100% correct: the Blu-ray is TOTALLY worth it. Love the commentaries, and having legal digital copies of all the episodes via Ultraviolet.

  4. season two looks A-MAY-ZEEEEENG!
I’m so freaking excited! I have no idea what all the hilarious stuff I’m seeing is about, except that Rick and Morty is comedic chaos.
I hope they don’t focus on the other Ricks and the rogue Morty, that was a fun WTF moment but I like their random chaotic adventures more.
I also pray that we don’t see anymore Cronenberg horrors, I don’t think I could handle another episode like that. haha

  5. The stuff you have to go through if you live outside the States, would like to pay the creators for their work but also watch Season 2’s episodes every week like the U.S. is unbelievably retarded. Makes no sense how its harder to pay for something instead of just stealing it, but it definitely is.
