No mention of Dee Barnes or Black Korea? c’mon Tony. Don’t tell making Dre and Cube executive producers made the story better, it means they could control their image.
You’re not wrong, though I try to review films “as is.” I do feel without them behind it we would have gotten a lower quality story overall. Now if I write about the stuff that’s missing from Straight Outta Compton (which I probably will — Arabian Prince, am I right?), I’ll absolutely bring that stuff up.
