The Bay Area-based developers at Telltale Games got their start just trying to keep the flame of adventure games alive that had burned out at LucasArts. Working one episode at a time for years and years, the ever-growing company hit it big in 2012 with multi-Game of the Year winner The Walking Dead. That intense adventure was followed by accolades for Tales From The Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us, and The Game of Thrones games, and there’s even a mysterious title based on Marvel Comics in the pipeline. This is apparently the first in Complex’s Magnum Opus Games series, each taking a 30 minute, in-depth looking at a different game studio.
