  1. What I got from the scene with Ned laughing is that he’s giggling to himself because he’s doing the right thing even though Homer is sleeping on the job instead of having an obvious gag using the bullies walking away without paying.

  2. This episode has some great gags, but it’s not one of my favourites of season 3 (especially coming off of the Treehouse of Horror).

  3. It’s funny how Chris bought up Beatles song rights in between the World According to Garp and Mad Men. I’ve seen Beatles songs used in movies on three separate occasions. “Twist and Shout” in Ferris Bueller’s Off, “I’m Looking Through You” in Ricky Gervais’ Ghost Town and “Baby, You’re A Rich Man” in The Social Network. Just thought i’d point that out.
