Watch Ghostbusters With Us (AND DAN AMRICH)!

Does ‘bustin still make us feel good? Find out in our LIVE commentary for 1984’s Ghostbusters with SPECIAL GUEST Dan Amrich lending his deep knowledge of the film to the proceedings.

If you aren’t a part of the Laser Time Patreon (and you REALLY should be a part of it), then you might not know we made a change to the Monday Night Movie commentaries! In case you hadn’t heard: From now on, the live stream of the movie commentary will be open to whoever can show up on time, though the archive/MP3 version of it will remain exclusive to our wonderful Patreon members (and did we mention that as little as $5 a month on the Laser Time Patreon is 100% worth it for the biweekly new commentaries and the dozens of archived ones?!?!). So, what are we going to be watching, live, RIGHT HERE at 6pm Pacific time? Well, there’s something strange in your neighborhood, so we’re watching the 1984 classic Ghostbusters ahead of this week’s reboot. To sweeten the deal, we’ve got the biggest Ghostbusters fan we know on deck; Dan Amrich!

Does this Ghostbusting foursome still hold up some 32 years later? We’ll find out LIVE on YouTube at 6PM PST.

You can rent or buy Ghostbusters via Digital Download on Amazon – or you could bust out a different method of obtaining the movie (we won’t judge). Either way, join us at 6pm Pacific to watch along on the YouTube stream below! And if you’re a Patreon supporter, you can download the MP3 archive the day after the stream!

In the meantime, get a taste of how these streams go by watching a previous freebie – maybe it’ll inspire you to jump on the Patreon Bandcamp.

Want even more Ghostbustin fun? We recently ran a four-way match featuring the original Ghostbusters. Who’s the true star; Ray, Egon, Peter, or Winston? Watch the stream below to find out!

  1. I wish Dan were on more. He’s great the few times he’s been on Laser Time, and I listened to all of his Dan and Kat shows after he mentioned it on LT, and I want more of those, too.

  2. My Patreon dollars entitle me to hear at least one Dan Amrich “Hi” a year so I guess it’s that time again.
