1 – Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado and Sin Cara vs. Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari – Pre-show match
Jeez, this feels very slapped together at the last minute. I’m really rooting for Cedric Alexander in general, so I’ll pick his team, but I really, who cares? I’d be more interested if Rich Swann was on either team, especially since he beat Kendrick this Monday. Yeesh, it has all been downhill since the CWC.
PICK: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado and Sin Cara
2 – Bayley vs. Dana Brooke
I want Bayley to just mulch Dana Brooke and have this feud be over with. Maybe even just slam her right back to NXT. However, with Emmalina about to debut, I wonder if she’ll get involved and cost Bayley the match. So, sadly, I think Dana is going to win another match against the much better grappler.
PICK: Dana Brooke
3- Big Cass & Enzo vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
I love both these teams, but JEEZ, who did Karl Anderson piss off to keep taking all the losses in this feud. I mean, seriously, The Club should’ve been booked as killers from day one, but they keep getting clowned on and looking like losers. They’ve been useless without AJ and it really feels like backstage politics for why they haven’t been dominating the tag brackets. I’ll cross my fingers that The Club will at least win this one to extend the feud.
PICK: The Club
4 – WWE Cruiserweight Champion T.J. Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick
This has been going on for far too long, and the idea that Brian is such a loser that he has to beg TJ to let him win is such a lame turn. TJ just needs to kill Brian and then move onto a new feud. The Cruiserweight division needs a new top title feud to reinvigorate a division that is already starting to feel stale.
5- WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (Hell in a Cell Match)
Despite Roman being written as terrible as he usually is, this has been a fun feud thanks to Rusev being a great, charismatic bad guy. These two are great at tearing each other apart in brawls, and this very well could be the best bout of the night. I kinda want Rusev to win back his belt and lengthen this feud, but my gut tells me that Roman will stay dominant and strong.
PICK: Roman Reigns
6- WWE Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. Cesaro & Sheamus
This team of bickering superstars is a nice creation to liven up Raw’s weak tag division. And yet, I don’t see Cesaro and Sheamus being the ones to end New Day’s championship reign. I fully expect them to flame out in the last minute, or having New Day do their usual borderline-heelish cheating.
PICK: The New Day
7- WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins (Hell in a Cell Match)
Gotta say, Kevin Owens seems way less important than Chris Jericho and his list in this feud. I don’t see this as the time Rollins wins his first championship as a good guy, especially when it feels so unimportant compared to a cliboard. The no-DQ stipulation of HiaC allows Owens a chance to bludgeon Seth in some way to keep the title and the Kevin Owens Show going strong.
PICK: Kevin Owens
8- WWE Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (Hell in a Cell Match)
Unless Sasha Banks has another secret injury, this is her time to shine. Hopefully, this won’t be another one of those times where Sasha nearly kills herself with a move that drops her right on her head. Whether this is actually the last match of the show, I think this will be Charlotte and Sasha going all out in a feud-ending battle. Hopefully, both can move on to bigger and better things.
PICK: Sasha Banks
