  1. I had never noticed it until this viewing, but I love this one-episode implication of Barney being gay for Skinner.

I fucking LOVE Moe’s Bar being singled out in both comet scenarios, and the line-read of Moe going “DEAR GOD NO.” Gets me every damn time.

  2. Ah, Superfriends. I’m a bit older than you guys, but I remember this show. You’re right about Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog. I hated those characters.

There was one episode that had a real impact on me. I had to look up the title. I was called “History of Doom”. The show opens with a montage, showing the world in complete ruins, after some kind of disaster. Aliens show up, and try to find out what happened. They find a recording left by Superman, weak and weary, saying he is the last survivor of a world-wide disaster. Most of the rest of the episode is the aliens viewing the computer records. By the end of the episode, the aliens decide that humanity deserves a second chance, and turn back time to before the disaster. It definitely has some corny moments, but as a kid, it kind of blew me away. Right at the start of the episode, and EVERYONE IS DEAD?! It was pretty creepy.
