George Clooney begins his love affair with Steven Soderbergh, Wall-E reaches new heights for Pixar, Step By Step is mercifully retired, Eddie Murphy remakes reach a new low, George Carlin proves life is worth losing and Who Framed Roger Rabbit debuts thirty years ago in theaters! All that an more on this week’s Thirty Twenty Ten, your auditory journey back to the week that was 30, 20, and 10 years ago.

Hitler Bad, Vqndals Good is one of my favorite albums ever. It’s where they perfected their signature style of songs driving comedy from assholes who don’t realize they are assholes.
Was Jessica Rabbit anyone here’s sexual awakening?
I saw Smoke Signals twice in college for two different classes. I loved it so much I bought the dvd and watch it every couple of years. Sherman Alexie is a great writer and Smoke Signals is based on a mix of his stories “The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven” his short stories are great and I love each story is titled like a fallout boy song (or fallout boy songs are titled like Alexie stories).
No mention of Mankind vs Undertaker Hell In The Cell at Survivor Series 20 years ago?
King of the Ring*
Do all Americans pronounce ratatouille as several words…?
Still a great show! but I miss Dave, Matt and Henry on these… and I miss Chris on Talking Simpsons…
Loved hearing you talk about Jump Jive and Wail. Brian Setzer is my second cousin, so growing up I had to listen to Stray Cats and Brian Setzer Orchestra pretty much endlessly. I must have seen his band live about 15 times because he used to get my family tickets every time he was in the area when I was younger. Can’t say I’m the biggest fan of his music, but I love seeing the reactions of my 20 something year old friends who have never heard of him when I break out one of his songs at karaoke. Loving the show lately, Sara has been a great addition! Keep it up!
Out of Sight is so goddamn good and I’m glad to hear you guys sing its praises
Regarding remakes, there’s been 5 versions of Beau Geste, if you include 1977’s The Last Remake of Beau Geste.

So I just sat and watched Wanted for the first time. Goddamned that movie is stupid as fuck, potentially redeemed by all the times Chris Pratt gets smashed in the face
I cannot rewatch Roger Rabbit. That scene when Doom just mercilessly melts that cartoon shoe triggers the fuck out of me.
