2021’s Most Anticipated Games – Vidjagame Apocalypse 401

We’re back on our traditional annual bullshit this week, kicking off the new year with a look forward at five games we’re especially excited for in 2021 (assuming they arrive this year). This is one of our shortest shows in years, but don’t worry/get too comfortable, as we’ll be back in full force next week.

Question of the Week: What are your gaming New Year’s resolutions for 2021?

  1. QotW: my gaming resolution for the year is the same as most years: clear my backlog. I have a large pile of RPGs and I plan to get through at least a few of them (making good progress on Dragon Quest XI at the moment)

  2. QotW: My gaming resolution is not to buy any new games this year….except for Hollow Knight: Silksong….and Axiom Verge 2…and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World…and Breath of the Wild 2…and…

  3. QotW: My gaming resolution of the year is twofold. First I just got myself a free switch with my credit card reward program and bought only one game for it as of now, Ring Fit Adventure. I really need to get some exercise done so I want to put time in it once every 2 days at worst. Then I want to get through at least Trails of Cold Steel 2 and 3. 2 RPGs might seem like a highly reachable objective but having 2 kids and playing a whole bunch of games on the side with friends and the girlfriend ( L4D2, DoW2, Borderlands 3 and Divinity 2 ) I don’t have that much time to fly solo.
