Oh shit, time to put on my 3-D shades, itโs Laser Time!
inb4 lasertime 16-bt video game
Yayyy I’m so excite! Time to sit back and masturb I mean listen.

Enjoyed this one thoroughly. Not a typical LT, but I find any discussion with an artist of the creative process to be immensely fascinating.
Fuck E3 lol
Just wanted to brag. Henry mentioned the dust brothers and King Gizmo is my stepmom’s cousin.
What video game podcast would a Laser Time game podcast compete with? These guys don’t do one any more, and I’ve followed them all into their various other podcasts, so how would me listening to another one compete?
Anything about videogames would compete with gamesradar.com, and chris gets paid by them.
I think any podcast Chris does that has to do with videogames would supplement GamesRadar, like TalkRadar did. And where does Chris work now, he keeps mentioning this and that but I’m not sure any more?
i hate when the graphics aren’t tight enough
I remember hearing that commercial on one of the earlier TalkRadar episodes. It seemed ridiculous at the time, but now it sounds downright stupid. She literally says, “I have another game I need designed”. Talk about misleading advertisements.
Only listening to this now because I have been caught in E3 craziness
Fantastic!
Donated some bucks your way. Keep up the good work ๐
AWWW yeah
Thanks for all the DKC3 music in the background. Good memories.
I have a C# book that’s been gathering dust for the last 6 months. I need to sit my ass down and finally learn it rather than daydreaming about all the amazing games I’m going to change the world with.
Can’t wait to listen to the episode. I know it might not be the same thing but there is this free program called “Stencyl” that can be used to create your own games and I’ve been following it’s developement for many years now. The next version is said to allow games to be made using HTML5 instead of flash.
Check it out: http://www.stencyl.com/
I’ve always wanted to make my own games, but I can’t stay focused enough these days it seems lol.
As an aspiring level editor/designer who’s straight out of college and still not in the industry this was favorable to listen to. I’ve got a few levels but I’m putting most of my time on yeah just working to pay rent. I worked with RPG Maker in the past, made a South Park inspired RPG, * pushes hipster glasses towards face lol.

It was thanks to some great advice from Eric Bratcher and the guys at GR that I found my way into the industry.
I managed to leverage my experience in Event Management and Advertising to get a Producer/Designer job at an iOS studio last year. After shipping a couple of games like Real Steel (pretty good) and Popping Mania (not so good), I moved over to Zynga as a Producer.
If you can’t break into the industry straight out of college, gain some experience and skills that will translate to the Gaming industry.
Wow, smallberry, you did it!!!! That’s fucking awesome.
Anyone know what the song at the end is?
This makes me want to learn some simple programming languages. I won’t, because I’m lazy as hell. But I want to.
Just listened to this ep (finally!) and I loved every second of it. Matt, Onslaught is awesome and you just gained a new follower on Twitter.
Oh, and a belated congrats to smallberry!
