With Jurassic World hitting theaters and (LEGO-themed) games, this week seems like a perfect time for an appreciation of our favorite apex predator, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, and its five best appearances as a menacing boss monster. Then there’s some excitable, digression-heavy talk about Fallout 4, Steam refunds, Uwe Boll cursing Kickstarter, and the video-game deaths you felt bad about causing.
Question of the Week
What are you most looking forward to seeing at this year’s E3?
*NOTE* We’ve been getting some AMAZING donations lately but hardly anyone is attaching a name and the intended recipient of said donations. Please try to make note of which podcast the donation is going to so maybe we can get some new equipment and thank the right people for all their support.

Qotw: I’m most eager to see whether Microsoft announce that PC will get a Rise of the Tomb Raider release alongside Xbone. If they don’t, I can bitch and moan about what a hoax Microsoft’s new PC push is, and if they do, I get to play it earlier. Win-win.
QOTW: Whatever Microsoft and Nintendo are planning to show. It also wouldn’t hurt to have at least a little glimpse from Kingdom Hearts III to see what Nomura and Square-Enix are up to with that game.
I’m curious to see Disney Infinity 3, since I really didn’t enjoy the gameplay of Infinity 1 and as a result skipped Infinity 2 altogether. It might simply not be designed with me in mind, but neither was Skylanders, and that was very satisfying — it played like Diablo Jr. But now that Star Wars is in the mix for Disney Infinity, I am hoping it’s evolved in some way that makes it more satisfying to me. I’m going to buy the toys anyway so using them with a game sounds cool in theory…
I’m actually most eager to see old friends from the industry. E3 is like a family reunion where your legs hurt a lot.
Great to have Henry on the podcast again but quick correction you can play the first 6 megaman games on 3ds right now.
It still kind of amazes me that we’re getting Lego games at least once a year
Is this even really a question? Fallout 4 of course. After that, I’m curious to see what Microsoft has to show with their Oculus support.

And that’s with me keeping things off the list that’ll mainly be of interest to me, like Etrian Mystery Dungeon, Etrian Odyseey Untold 2, Dangan Ronpa Another Episode, Lost Dimensions, Devil’s Third, and possibly Tales of Zestiria.
It also omits any announcements that may happen at E3.
Mind telling me why 2015 has no games again?
Persona 5 (Dreaming for an on stage trailer at Sony), Doom (Always on board for 90s era shooter revivals), Metal Gear Rising 2 (who celebrates a TWO year anniversary Platinum?), Last Guardian (I know DNF didn’t work out so well but I doubt Team ICO is into Christian Bale rants and teetees. Keep the dream alive) (PARENTHESIS).
Ill be here next week.
I’m really hoping that Bathesda announces Elder Scrolls 6. Skyrim was one of my favorite games of last gen, and would love to see what the PS4 can do with It.
I’d like to point out that Fallout 4 is still running on the Gamebryo engine, the same fucking engine they used for Oblivion. It looks like garbage and you can actively see shit breaking in the trailer. I’m the biggest fan of the series in the world, but I’d really like a pretty and operable entry.
Man I really can’t believe you guys forgot about the great games that came out earlier this year
QOTW: Just more Doom, not teasers, not 3 second clips, full on Doom.
