  1. Thanks for the Piper podcast, I agree with Chris that Piper was about making you hate him for more than just I am bad guy hate me.

I think the best part about the Vince clip is Booker T. “Tell me he didn’t just say that!” Though Vince did end it in an A and not an ER so it was like a micrometre less racist. Plus since they have the power to control their history they can make it what ever they want.

  2. Awesome tribute to Piper, you guys. Got to take part in a ten bell salute for him this past Sunday at the Northeast Wrestling show in Lowell, MA. He had done some recent appearances for the company, so this was a really nice gesture and something I’m glad to have been present for.

  3. I just noticed you guys did not mention Piper and Keith David in Saints Row 4. You get to do the glasses scene.

  4. You know what’s weird to me? I was a child of the 80s (in fact, I’m a few years older than you guys), but I don’t ever remember seeing Roddy Piper or Jesse Ventura actually wrestle. They have always been “former wrestlers turned actors” for as long as I can remember.

And I was really into wrestling for a while around Wrestlemania 4-5-ish. I even went to a WWF event and saw Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs King Haku during their little feud. Ventura was a commentator around that time, I remember that, but I have no memory of seeing Piper in the ring. I think he was on the cartoon, but I remember him mostly for Body Slam and They Live.

  5. Chris I love you but you needed to chill out this episode. In the second half brett and grimm could barely get a word in edgewise.
