Thanks to that Simpsons DVD sale I’ll actually be watching the episode each week in preparation.
That being said, I always remember Homer’s fall being more violent/ spectacular. I’ll just assume it was back then before we’d all been super desensitized to everything.
The hallow sound of homer banging his head on the side of the cliff as he is being brought up to the ambulance will always crack me up.
This episode is one of my first memories watching Simpsons as a three year old. Being born 95 and having decent enough parents to let me watch it is kinda lucky in my opinion.
Astonishingly, there were *two* Bigfoot cartoons. There was the Video Power Team thing with the Acclaim characters, but there was also one called “Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines” based on the 80s toyline. It was part of the same Marvel/Hasbro B-team block as Inhumanoids and Robotix, and all I really remember about it is that all the trucks had AI personalities and female drivers.
This may have one of my favourite Homer getting horribly injured gags over the whole show run.
Is there an RSS feed I can use to auto download this so I don’t need to download each episode manually?
