  1. my 95 year old grandfather isnt mean like abe is whenever i visit him in the care home i can resemble him as abe sometimes. I think most people can relate to abe being like their grandfather.

  2. I love the exchange of Homer realizing that one day he’ll be in Abe’s position and his kids will treat him the exact same way (much like Bart will just become Homer).

  3. Hey Chris — You might recognize baseball player/manager Billy Martin’s name from such shows as Seinfeld. One of the classic Steinbrenner tirades was when he’s telling George about all the managers he fired: “You know as painfull as it is I had to let a few people go over the years. Yogi Berra, Lou Pinella, Bucky Dent, Billy Martin, Dallas Green, Dick Houser, Bill Virdon, Billy Martin, Scott Marrow, Billy Martin, Bob Lemmon, Billy Martin, Gene Michael, Buck Showalter, … uh, tut!, . . .George, you didn’t hear that from me.”

Billy Martin, Mr. Obscene Baseball Card Manager, was manager of the Yankees on five different occasions.

  4. Loving every show – keep em coming (I do wish they were longer)

Besides talking about only the episodes how bout some trivial things. I mentioned last time about quoting the commentary (that seems to have been improved). But you can have a talk about simpsons culture too.

Sorry i really like this show and want to hear more.
