  1. Feeling completionist? MAKE USE OF STAMPS AND KEEP A NOTEBOOK! I played for four hours last night and found a ton of surprising, out of the way stuff that just seems to be for people to stumble upon. You want to come back to this weird cave with a chest you can’t figure out to reach? Stamp it on the map and jot it down in a notebook, because you will run into a bunch of other things ten minutes later and forget about it.

  2. Was a fun stream! You put a call out for tips and I’ve got a good one. When going up against guardians, wait until the very last moment as they fire their laser and then do a perfect block. This will reflect the laser back into its face and do a ton of damage. The best part is that this has ZERO effect on your shield durability. You can walk around destroying hordes of guardians without using any weapons and ammo, and all without your shield taking a scratch.

I tried sneaking into Hyrule Castle just to see wtf was going on in there, and after a solid hour of MGS-like shenanigans I finally just starting fighting these things head on. As long as you’re only facing one at a time, it’s a pretty sure-fire way to take them down. Even cooler, sometimes the reflected laser will blow off their legs, causing them to start limping after you. Just another little touch that makes this game special. I have no idea if this works on the flying variants though, as I haven’t tried it.

  3. Just discovered this trick on my own.
With the logs from trees you can make a fire anywhere as long as you have the flint to ignite it.
You can also drop a bunch of logs, light them and the heat will rise allowing you use the paraglider to hover over them.
Very handy if you want a quick surveillance or a boost.
