Suda 51’s Hardcore Assassin Travis Touchdown Returns On Switch With A Brand New Trailer!

Will people EVER stop trying to kill Travis Touchdown?

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Suda 51’s assassin Travis Touchdown, and this trailer knows it. The most hardcore franchise to be started on the Wii will return for its 10th anniversary with Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes on Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo revealed the Grasshopper produced, Suda 51 directed console exclusive sequel as part of its Nindies summer showcase today, while giving no release date other than 2018.

Check out the trailer below and let us know in the comments how excited you are to see Suda 51 direct his first game since No More Heroes way back in 2007! Also tell us your speculations about what this game may even be. The trailer has some nods to VR and Nintendo mentioned minigames in their reveal. Is that the Stranger Things font? And what’s the deal with the Hotline Miami cameo? Are they just pointing out the influence NMH has had or will we see some crossover action?

Either way, we’re pumped.

  1. I can’t wait to see with they do this time around. Hopefully, they don’t have the shitty minigames the first game had. Even with that said, I had fun with the game.

  2. Sigh.
You know, EVERYONE shouted and complained what a gimmick the Wii was and rolled their eyes at every Wii game that came out and yet Suda51 basically used every one of those gimmicks and made an insane, crazy, unforgettable game because of those gimmicks and limitations.

Of course, the games were flawed, but damn if they aren’t memorable.
