Simpsons DVD suggestions!
Hey Talking Simpsons listeners! If you still don’t own the seasons on DVD, correct that with this Amazon sale, including some as low as $9.96!
Dude Bob taking a dig at Alex’s website and then going right into his OTHER VIDEO GAME WEBSITE and talking about how people should go there cause they LIKE HIM is some petty fucking shit
This episode reminds me of Konami’s Simpsons Bowling Game, that I played a few times at the local arcade. It’s not great, but it’s not too bad either. The game features voice overs from the actual Simpsons cast and crew at least. It even features Hans Moleman in the background. I also love the animation work done in the psychedelic freak out scene!

Also, if you dare, take a gander at the stupendously horrendous German Mad magazine parody of The Simpsons. http://tiny.cc/madgersim
Oh yeah, and I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that they in fact DID do a sequel specifically to this episode recently. “Singin’ in the Lane” has Homer bring back the Pin Pals. There’s no emoticon for what I’m feeling so I’ll just leave it at “It just plain suckedl!”
I love me a good Hans Moleman sequence, and boy howdy is this one of the best
Why is this show still on the LT network?
I must be one of the few who fell in that sweet spot where I was old enough and nerdy enough to want to watch The Tracy Ullman Show anyway. It debuted right before my 15th birthday, so I saw all of the shorts as they aired.
How about doing a Talking Simpsons about “The Problem With Apu”? That could be really interesting.
They did! It’s on their Patreon.
