  1. I haven’t seen any movies or TV series in which a samurai defeats a mech with a katana. However, I played the translated version of Sakura Wars 5 on Playstation 2 almost a decade ago. It had a scene in which a girl samurai uses her sword to slice a robot in half. Subaru Kujo, the person who notices this event, is only slightly surprised.
