I love you guys, but the silence on the biggest video game news of the week is kind of deafening. The whole industry is having its MeToo crisis, and you guys don’t discuss it at all. I get that it isn’t as important as the BLM stuff that got an hour plus, but it is worth at least a decent mention and some discussion. As I watched Jay Edidin point out with the same issue going on in comics right now, it pushed out a whole generation of young minority people out of the comics industry. I suspect it did something similar in the games industry. It’s worth at least a mention.
Keeping quiet also makes it seem like Mikel is covering for the company he currently works for, which I’m sure is not the case. But it’s hard not to have that implication when basically every other podcast on videogames I listen to is on fire over it (sans Retronauts, but those are recorded well in advance from my understanding)
